At MoHUB, your safety and wellbeing are our highest priority. Whether you’re visiting the Montrose FoodHUB, attending youth activities, using our hall space, or volunteering with us, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone.

Our Safeguarding Commitment

We take safeguarding seriously and follow clear policies and procedures to protect children, young people, and vulnerable adults from harm. As part of our commitment:

• All MoHUB staff and regular volunteers are PVG checked through Disclosure Scotland
• We provide safeguarding training and clear guidance to everyone involved in our work
• We follow the wider YMCA Scotland Safeguarding Policies and Procedures, ensuring that our practices meet national standards
• We promote a culture of openness where everyone feels safe to speak up and raise concerns
